Gastronomic tour in St.Petersburg'2020

Travel company "EVA GROUP" invites you to visit St. Petersburg and combine participation in the events of the European Championship 2020 with a tour of the city and its main attractions. Sightseeing tour with a visit to the colonnade of St. Isaac's Cathedral and a new landmark-the skyscraper Lakhta center will open you panoramic views of the Northern capital of Russia, where you can see how the city is prepared to meet you. The next day after the match we offer you a water trip by hydroplane to the summer seaside residence of Peter the Great – Peterhof and visit Peterhof Low Park with fountains. At night we invite you to take a boat trip along the main waterways of St. Petersburg and see the world-famous drawbridges of St. Petersburg in the midst of White nights. On the last day of the program we will visit the Paul the 1st Palace – a stately building in the classical style, the residence of the son of Catherine the Great.

Day 1

Arrival of the group to St Petersburg.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel (buffet).

3-hours city-tour with visiting the most important and world-wide known places in St Petersburg: Palaces, squares, churches of the city and history about the eating traditions in Russia.

Optional: Hermitage. Excursion to the State Hermitage Museum (entrance ticket+guide services - 22 EUR/person, tour leader for free).

Optional: Tar bath. Tar bath in the heart of the city. Massage and steam room with a broom (70 EUR/pers). After the Russian bath.

Delicious stylish Russian refined lunch in one of the best restaurants of Russian cuisine in St. Petersburg at the same building.

Peterhof Low park (fountains). From May to September, a trip to the Summer Imperial Residence of Romanovs. Excursion to the Lower Park at Peterhof Palace&Park complex.

The duration of the tour is 6 hours.

Gatchina (Residence of two Russian Emperors) From October to May bus tour to Gatchina, "Palace of two Russian Emperors" Paul the 1st and Alexander the 3rd. An ancient manor and a city founded by Emperor Paul the 1st. Pokrovsky and Pavlovsk cathedrals, Lutheran Church. Ingeburg and Vyazma gates. All Saints Church in the cemetery. Church of the intercession in Marienburg. The Grand Palace and the Park.

The duration of the tour is 6 hours.

Return to St. Petersburg.

Transfer to the evening of tasting: The tasting is held in the format of a full friendly home lunch or dinner, guests will be offered one hot dish and various Russian traditional snacks. All alcohol, throughout the event, is served chilled. We will tell you all about the process of preparation and features of each tested drink. We recommend absolutely everyone who is interested in strong alcohol and loves to eat! Menu: one hot dish, pancakes with red caviar, Russian national snacks, traditional homemade salads and pickles. Drinks: 6-8 shots of strong alcohol, homemade lemonade.

Optional: Night tour by rivers and canals with drawbridges. Night half-hour tour of the rivers and canals in the Central part of the Neva river with the inspection of drawbridges by a separate ship. During the tour you will see drawbridges (Troitsky, Bolsheokhtinsky, Birzhevoy), as well as monuments and historical buildings of St. Petersburg, palaces and parks of the Central historical part of the city.
